Energy is a decision problem. We solve it in software.
Innomenta builds software and AI for the energy sector — and teaches your teams to build it themselves. We are the company behind Aikion: a control system that plans solar, battery and charging two days ahead, then holds the plan against reality.
Example day for a house with 10 kWp and a battery: day-ahead prices, solar forecast and load forecast. The plan is calculated, not drawn.
Control loop
5 s
How often Aikion re-reads the site and sends a new setpoint to the hardware.
Planning horizon
24 h
The optimizer plans the whole day ahead, not just the next hour.
Inverters

Sungrow, Deye, Huawei and Fronius — read directly over Modbus TCP.
Since
2018
Innomenta has been building software for other companies since day one in Malmö.
What we do04
Four ways to work with us
We usually start in energy, but the craft is the same everywhere: make the problem measurable, build the simple thing that survives, and hand over the knowledge.
Energy optimization
We build control that acts on price, forecast and measurements instead of rules of thumb. Plan the day, respect the power ceiling, and recompute when reality drifts from the plan.
Linear optimization
Forecasting
Peak shaving
Modbus & OCPP
AI that survives production
Models are easy to demo and hard to run. We build them with measurement, limits and fallbacks from the start — so they can be trusted on a Tuesday in November.
Forecast models
Anomaly detection

AI mentorship
We sit next to your team and build the first solution together. Your code, your repo, your decisions. We hand over the capability, not just a delivery.

Software engineering
The platform under everything else: cloud, APIs, real-time data, apps and hardware integrations. The same craft we have delivered as consultants since 2018.

Our own productAikion
We don't sell theory. We run an energy system of our own.
Aikion is Innomenta's energy management system. It reads inverters and meters directly, plans the day against day-ahead prices, and controls battery and charger in real time. What we learned keeping it running is what we bring to your projects.
Speaks Modbus TCP directly to Sungrow, Deye, Huawei and Fronius — and OCPP to the charger. No middlemen, no cloud latency.
Plan
A linear program weighs spot price, solar forecast, load forecast, battery limits and the power ceiling against each other and lays out a day schedule.
Control
Every two seconds the plan is compared with what the meter actually reads. When reality drifts, the plan is recomputed.
Run
Runs as a Homey app locally in the home and as a cloud service for history and optimization. Shipped continuously against live sites.
AI mentorship
We're done when you no longer need us
Most teams don't need an AI vendor. They need someone to build the first solution with them and then step aside.
Map it
We go through your data, systems and ambition, and give an honest picture of what AI solves for you — and what it doesn't. You get a prioritised list, not a pitch.
Build together
We build the first solution alongside your team, in your repo. Pair programming, architecture and review happen in the work rather than in a report.
Hand over
We step down. What remains is documentation, tests and a team that builds the next solution on its own. We stay available as a sounding board for as long as it helps.
Owners02
Two owners with the same technical obsession
Innomenta is run by two owners who build things themselves. The people who write the code are the people in the meeting.
F
Fredric
Co-owner · CEO
Fredric has been building systems for twenty years and started Innomenta in 2018. An interest in hourly electricity pricing at home turned into solar panels, a battery and eventually Aikion — the code that controls them. He is CEO and still writes code every week.
V
Vladimir
Co-owner · CTO
Vladimir is co-owner and CTO. He owns Innomenta's technical direction and architecture: how we build, what we leave out, and what it takes for a solution to hold up in production rather than only in a demo.
Tell us what you're trying to solve
One conversation is enough to tell whether we're the right fit. If you already have data and a system that should get smarter, that's usually where we start.
